  • 1 pound cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 3 carrots (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey

    Directions

    1. Heat a small skillet on medium heat. Add fennel seeds; cook, stirring, 2 mins, or until golden and fragrant. Set aside.
    2. Place cauliflower and carrot in a steamer basket over a saucepan of boiling water; cover and cook 10 mins, or until tender. Transfer to a saucepan on medium heat.
    3. Add honey, fennel seeds and cream to cauliflower mixture; cook, stirring, 2 mins, or until thickened slightly. Mash until smooth; season. Serve.
