- 1 cup grated carrot (about 2 large)
- 2 flax seed meal (tablspoons ground)
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 almond milk (tablespons of, or more to desired consistancy)

While I agree with the previous review that the bars do not taste like carrot cake; they are well balanced and sweet enough, The flavor of peanut butter is more predominant than I expected. Perhaps the bars would more aptly be named Peanut Butter/Oatmeal Bars, The carrots lend sweetness and moisture to the recipe but flavor- no. I would make these agin, just not if I were craving carrot cake,lol.
