- 1 1/3 cups quick cooking oats
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 1 tsp. canela (ground)
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg (ground)
- 1 cup butter (Cold, cut up, 2 sticks)
- 5 cooking apples (Medium, peeled, cored and thinly sliced, I use both red & green apples)
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand®, I used Low Fat version)
- 12.25 oz. caramel (Smucker’s®, Flavored Topping, divided, We didn’t use the whole jar)
- 1 cup walnuts (chopped)
- vanilla ice cream (optional)
