- 1/3 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened hot)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 cup boiling water (I heat it for 90 seconds in the microwave in a glass measuring cup)
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (or half and half)
- 1 Tbsp. cream of coconut (not coconut milk, or to taste)
- 1 tsp. amaretto syrup here is what it looks like (amaretto, here is what it looks like)
- whipped cream (to taste)
- chocolate syrup (to taste)
- coconut flakes (toasted, to taste, for garnish, optional)
- 1 Tbsp. peanut butter (Reese's, other peanut butter is fine, the Reese's kind is best though)

- Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (crumbled or chopped, to taste for garnish, optional)
- 1 Tbsp. caramel topping (or to taste)
