- 1 cup chicken livers (diced into small pieces)
- 5 slices bacon (3 –, raw, chopped)
- 1 cup onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- Cajun seasoning (to taste)
- sea salt (to taste)
- 4 Tbsp. whey (lemon juice or apple cider vinegar if using un-soaked rice)
- 5 tsp. paprika
- 3 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tsp. onion powder
- 3 tsp. dried thyme (ground)
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (⅛ –, optional)
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
