- 3 peppers (– a red, orange, and yellow, we omitted onions, but if you care to, add 2 onions)
- 5 ribs (celery, should be a bunch)
- 8 cloves garlic (pressed, I know, a lot, but still, worth it! Just bring the breath mints)
- 3 eggs (whisked)
- butter
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. onion powder (to attempt onion flavor in some way)
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire
- 1 1/4 cups ketchup (will be split into 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup)
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 lb. ground beef (the leaner the better)
- 1 lb. ground sausage (or pork)
