This recipe makes a lovely dough - think more cream puff than Beignet.
It comes together quick and I dropped teaspoon sized dough into oil as if it was a bigger amount it didn’t cook all the way thru. Next time I’ll use lard instead of oil - hate that smell ! And I did add granulated cinnamon sugar with the confectionery sugar just to add a bit more flavor … really good but def not the square Beignet you see everywhere…needs to be cooked way longer then 3 min
