- 1 Tbsp. fresh dill (chopped fine)
- 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp. ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup cooked rice (white or brown basmati is wonderful in this)
- 1/2 lb. bacon (cooked until browned but not totally crispy)
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease (reserved)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 lb. cabbage
- cole slaw mix
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 8 oz. part skim mozzarella cheese (grated)
- sour cream (optional)

This was SO delicious! I didn't have fresh thyme, dill, or bacon. I subbed 1 pound spicy pork sausage and 1 pound ground chicken instead of beef. Used the fat from the sausage instead of the bacon grease. Added some smoked paprika as well. Definitely adding this to the rotation!
