- 1 head butter (Romaine, bibb or iceberg lettuce, torn or cut into bite-sized pieces, depends how big the head of lettuce is)
- 1 Tbsp. dried dillweed
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1 whole cucumber (small, or 1/2 English hot-house, cut in half lengthwise, then thinly sliced)
- 1/2 white onion (medium sweet, thinly sliced)
- 3 tomatoes (small firm, but ripe, cut in half & thinly sliced, Roma are good, or overly-large grape tomatoes can just be sliced)
- 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (if you have a fresh lemon, add some lemon zest too)
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar (plain)
- 2 tsp. sugar
- splenda
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
