- 1 tsp. dark molasses (or yacon syrup for color, optional)
- 3/4 cup whey protein powder (plain, such as Bob’s Red Mill Whey Concentrate)
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 3 Tbsp. Equal (Natural Mate, to 6 tablespoons sugar.* Use more or less to taste.)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter oil (melted and cooled but still liquid)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 Tbsp. water (as needed)
