- 2 Tbsp. desiccated coconut
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
- coconut oil (for pan frying)
- fresh coriander (to serve)

- 1/4 cup split pea (yellow, chana dal soaked in hot water for 30 minutes)

- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/4 tsp. chilli flakes
- salt (to taste)
