- mild Italian pork sausage (3-4 links, sliced)
- 10 oz. butternut squash (frozen, cubed)
- 16 oz. potato gnocchi
- 1 cup half and half (or whole milk)
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. dried sage
- fresh sage (for garnish, optional)
- black pepper (for garnish, optional)

Directions
- Microwave the frozen butternut squash according to the package directions. Set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium high heat add the sliced sausage. Cook 3-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Add in the uncooked gnocchi and stir.
