- 1 tsp. Creole seasoning (Tony Chachere’s Original, + more if desired)
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 3 leeks (tender white and light green parts only chopped)
- 10 oz. kale (roughly chopped)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (blend of, shredded + more if desired)
- bacon bits (crispy)
- pomegranate arils

This is one of the strangest combinations of ingredients I’ve ever put together in one recipe - and it works! The dish’s flavor is creamy and the pomegranate is truly what makes the flavor pop! I mixed my own creole spice and couldn’t really taste it. Might need to experiment with the spice to get more than just the creamy flavor, but I still love the taste. Overall I’m not sure it’s worth all the prep time, but when it’s all said and done I’ll probably make this again. Give it a try, you’ll be surprised at how good this is.
