  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

    Directions

    1. Process all ingredients in a blender 30 seconds or until very smooth.
    2. Cover and chill for an hour.
    3. Pour mixture into the freezer container of a 1½ quart electric ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
    4. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for up to a week.
