Oh my goodness, this is everything you could ask for and more. Easy to make, not a ton of ingredients, and absolutely delicious. When I tasted the batter, I was taken aback with the ovewhelming affect the buttermilk. However, after cooling in the fridge for four hours, the taste mellowed out, and turned out great. I topped it with a tsp of créme fraisch, raspberries and blueberries. Man, this was good!
