Made as directed. Very light and fluffy. The batter was light and fluffy as well. Used salted and unsalted butter. Would make again!

These are the BEST pancakes ever. Always light and fluffy. I don't make any other type of pancakes anymore!!

Really great basic pancake recipe. I made a double batch, and there were a couple left over after five people ate.
Best part of the recipe was how easy it was to cook and flip the pancakes, they stayed together well and the batter had plenty of butter to help them release from the pan.
Nice even golden color and crisp edges, too.

Followed the recipe exactly including leaving lumps in the batter. (The one on the website as this one is incorrect- 1&1/4 c of buttermilk not 1&1/3) The batter was almost frothy. The pancake was very flimsy making it difficult to flip. Once done, the flat pancake had an awful texture. As you bite, it would turn to mush in you mouth. (And not as food does but like a paste-like consistency) The flavor of the pancake wasn’t terrible, though. Do not recommend this recipe and will continue making Pioneer Woman’s recipe instead.

amazing! I did add a little more sugar (2 tsp) and it needed more buttermilk..but my 8 year old didn't even use syrup! and that kids got a sweet tooth!

These were awesome! Light and fluffy, just the right amount of sweet. Will definitely be making these again!
