- 5 chicken fillets (sliced into small pieces)
- 60 grams unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 onions (chopped finely)
- 5 garlic cloves (chopped finely)
- 1 can chopped tomatoes (400 ml – drained)
- 4 Tbsp. tomato (concentrate)
- 2 tsp. fenugreek
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 3 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger (grated)
- 1 tsp. ground cardamom
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp. chilli powder (or more if you like it hot)
- 3 tsp. Garam Masala
- 200 mL crème fraîche (you can also use sour cream or greek yogurt)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 handful coriander leaves (fresh, to sprinkle on each serving)
- 1 handful flaked almonds (to sprinkle on each serving.)
- 240 grams plain flour (sifted, plus extra for dusting)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. active yeast (grains)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 120 mL milk (lukewarm)
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter (melted, for serving)
- 1 handful flaked almonds
- 1 handful chopped coriander
- 150 grams dried coconut (mixture of, ground pistachios, chopped raisins and ground almonds.)
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds (ground, optional)
