I made this but something must have gone terribly wrong. I followed the direction fully but my ice cream stayed very thin after 40 minutes in the ice cream maker. Froze it anyway and it did firm up but was never like the picture. The butter also solidified in little pieces in the ice cream even though it was thoroughly mixed. Very disappointed.
I may try it again because it actually had very good flavor... almost like a butterscotch ice cream.
