2 tablespoons of butter is way too much for the buns. The butter soaked all the way through to the bottom bun and, while delicious, was quite messy.
I substituted beef for venison, and I cooked the onions and burger on a blackstone grill. My husband couldn't even tell they were venison burgers!

So. Much. Butter. But that’s what makes it delicious. Perfect burger! I added a few more spices to my hamburger and of course some burger toppings ;)

I use a whole onion in the pan, because i dont like onions. but i brown it first to give the meat flavor. My dad taught me that. He was a cook in the military.
