4 SERVINGS
- 8 oz. tortilla chips
- 2 cups chicken (shredded)
- 1 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb. jack cheese (monterrey, shredded, don't use the pre-shredded cheese)
- 8 oz. colby jack cheese (shredded, again, don't use the pre-shredded cheese, the additives they put in there make the cheese not melt the right way)
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
- green onions (optional)

This is a terrible recipe. Firstly because the ratios are completely off. Secondly because it’s just too much. Too rich. Too much Buffalo sauce. We doubled the amount of chips and still found there to be too much topping. So, if you are going to try this recipe, I recommend doubling the chips or cutting the other ingredients down by a half, maybe even 2/3s. I also doubled the amount of chicken because the recipe’s ratios leave you with an absolutely soupy mess. Combine this with the cheese sauce, and you’ve got a soggy mess. I don’t know. This recipe boggles the mind. Skip it.

My husband loves these! You have to eat them quickly or they get soggy. I have used pre-shredded cheese every time and it still turns out well I have substituted the heavy cream with regular milk, buttermilk, pretty much whatever I have in the fridge, They are pretty spicy the way the recipe calls and I decrease the hot sauce by almost half and they are still spicy. Also I use whatever cheese I have in the fridge and they are still awesome, so you can definitely substitute and they still turn out. Great recipe!
