delicious! though i did tweak the recipe a little: i substituted mixed nuts (pistachio, almond, pecan, cashew) for almonds. i used a little less sugar. and i did not use orange zest. the bread took exactly an hour to bake, and i covered with foil for the last 10 minutes because i was concerned about it drying out or burning on top. while the bread is sweet, it is not overly sweet. the texture is a perfect happy medium between cake and bread. definitely a repeat in our house!
