A one of my thicker chops took 2 extra minutes but once throughly cooked and rested the pork chops came out moist and with no salt needed. I did use salted butter and ground sage and it worked well.

The best and most simple pork chop recipe there is! I hated pork but my husband has always loved it. Now I cook pork chops regularly in a variety of ways but this is my favorite! If I don't have fresh sage I pat the chops dry and rub Italian seasoning on both sides and they still turn our wonderful. The fresh sage fried in the butter is heavenly though.
