- 1/2 medium onion (finely diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
- 2 cups cherry (halved yellow and red, and/or grape tomatoes divided)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (thinly sliced, and fresh leaves, or 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary)
