- 1/2 bunch flat leaf parsley
- 1/2 bunch fresh basil
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (for brodetto)
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (plus more to taste)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (Italian, canned, 28 oz. per can)
- 2 Tbsp. kosher salt (for sauce)
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil (for bread)
- 4 slices rustic Italian bread
