I used roasted garlic stock, caramelized my onions, and added 2 carrots and white pepper. Half and half is all I on hand plus if it ain't at least sharp cheddar it ain't in my house. I do think that I overblended it but it turned out really good.

Turned out delicious. Since i didn't have whole milk, i substituted with evaporated milk and used a mixture of a yellow onion and shallots. Yum, I will definitely be making this again.

I added carrots and used frozen broccoli, which I steamed before pureeing into the soup. For dairy, I added chunks of brie and yogurt with cream cheese in place of whole milk.

Great winter soup! I used mostly oat milk with a splash of cream and vegetable broth. Added mushrooms, carrots and garlic; left out the flour.

It turned out really well. I added carrots, garlic, herb de providence, and a adobo seasoning for added flavor. Over all easy recipe to make additions too

It was very good won’t use a potato masher again will use more broccoli and more cheese but won’t let the cheese melt

didnt have milk; only a small amount of whipping cream and sour cream (~1/3 cup total). cut out 1 cup of broth and a lil potato. cooked the potatoes with onions and garlic (as someone else suggested), along with paprika and fresh rosemary, prior to adding the broth. also subbed some cheddar with parmesan. it was plenty thick by the end, never added flour.

Turned out great! Used less cheese, no flour, only two cups of almond milk unsweetened, broccoli and cauliflower, 5 cups low sodium chicken broth!

Fantastic! Added slightly more broccoli and threw in some cauliflower. I also added two shredded chicken breasts for extra protein, so I added two extra cups of chicken broth. New family favourite.

Easy and splendid. (I only had pre-cooked broccoli, which I added at the last minute, so I ended up leaving out the milk. Still fantastic.) I will definitely make this again.

It turned out great this is the second time I make this and I love the combination of flavors specially for someone who doesn’t like broccoli!

I added 3 stalk of celery, 3 cloves of chopped garlic, about 2 tablespoons of sour cream and another cup of cheese and this was soooooo delicious! Everyone in the house loved it and we had none left over from this large pit of soup! Would recommend to everyone!

Loved it! Turned out really good. I always change up recipes a little to make it my own, which I did with this one as well. Chopped garlic sautéed with the onions, sautéed the cubes of potatoes to soak up the flavor from the onions and garlic before adding the broth, added a little All Spice with the salt and pepper, grated Parmesan mixed in with the grated cheddar cheese..... turned out very tasty! Wanted to pour it into individual bread bowls but couldn’t find any and didn’t have time to make my own, so just a nice crusty bread to go along side this savory chowder style soup made for a wonderful cold winter night dinner ❤️

It turned out great. I cooked mine in a crock pot and used Velveeta cheese instead. I should have added more broccoli or waited a little longer before adding it. Thank you for a great recipe. We added to our winter comfort food list.

Very pretty-add a little more salt. I added a few carrots just for color mostly. This is a mild soup.
