- 500 grams rhubarb (washed and cut into approximately 10cm pieces)
- 1 Orange
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla paste (or 1 vanilla bean, split in half lengthways)
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 8 slices brioche (loaf, I baked this one from Thalia Ho at Butter & Brioche)
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. neutral oil
- 1/2 cup pistachios (roughly chopped)
