- 5 slices bread (white, or brown, – I used white bread)
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1/2 medium carrot (length)
- 1 handful peas
- 2 tsp. ginger paste (made from grinding fresh ginger in pestle and mortar)
- 1 onion (medium, chopped)
- 1 handful peanuts
- 2 tsp. red chili powder (Kashmiri)
- 2 tsp. cumin powder (roasted, you may not roast it but I prefer this way)
- 2 tsp. Garam Masala
- 3 raisins (brown, optional)
- 5 Tbsp. crumb (Bread)
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil (I used Sunflower oil)
- salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)
- 3 coriander leaves (chopped, optional)
- 1 cup water
- tomato ketchup (for garnishing, optional)
