- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves (or fresh thyme)
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (this might sound like a lot, but it's not. The flavors are great)
- 1 lemon
- cracked black pepper
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter (to thicken sauce)
- 2 Tbsp. flour (to thicken sauce)
