Not sure how his is supposed to “thicken” with no flour or corn starch, and as I suspected it didn’t. Followed the directions exactly and turned out nothing like the picture

It was fantastic! Tastes great! Added a little bit extra of everything but next time i would add some corn starch to help thicken it up bc it didnt separate to a sauce but still came out really well!

flavor was very good the family loved it but the sauce needed cornstarch to thicken up more and stick to the chicken. will try again but with cornstarch.

This was great! Based on other users' reviews, I cut the sugar in half. I also added 1 teaspoon of cornstarch (mixed with a little water first) to the sauce at the thickening stage). Served with brown rice and roasted veggies. My husband said it tasted like Panda Express (it was a compliment).

After letting marinade 8 hours the flavor was still not in the meet. Also cooking the marinade in a separate plan created a weird substance that really looked dangerous. Whatever you do, please don’t use Breast. The amount of cooking it will require to get the meet brown drys the breast. Find another recipe for bourbon chicken if you can.

Easy and tasty... I would only add a little less sugar next time as I found it a little too sweet and maybe add some cayenne to add a little spice.

The hardest part of the whole thing was cutting the chicken. Easy to make and delicious to taste. I added a side of broccoli which really rounded out the dish.
