it was as good as I hoped. I didn't have Bourbon and substituted for Brandy, and added onion for flavour and cornstarch to thicken it up a bit more. Overall it's definitely a recipe I would be so making again, my husband was really impressed also. I cooked up some green beans with onion and garlic as a side. Next time I will cut up & marinade the chicken the day before though.

Nice flavor but the bourbon did not shine through as I would have liked. I did season the chicken pieces a little more with cumin, smoky paprika and pepper but in the future I'll marinate the chicken in bourbon overnight. The sauce was really good. I'll leave out the water next time too. Overall it was a hit. Served with broccoli and jasmine rice. Simple and fast. Charles Kempf with Jennifer. 😉

it was awesome! i always add grill spice to my meats in addition to the seasonings in the recipe.... i used bbq sauce instead of ketchup and i left out the pepper flakes
