- 3/4 inch bacon
- 3 cups beans
- 3 Tbsp. molasses (or more to taste - I used slightly more)
- 2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 3 cups beans (optional)
- 2 tsp. ground mustard
- 1/2 cup ketchup (or barbecue sauce - I use barbecue sauce)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (or up to 1/2 cup)
- 1 onion (large, diced)
- 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. ground black pepper (course-, or to taste)
