- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed (ground brown)
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 750 mL Burgundy wine
- 1 qt. beef stock (white)
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1/2 Tbsp. aleppo pepper
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 1/4 cup chervil (picked)
