Family favorite, this takes some time, glaze, egg wash and rest before baking…well worth the wait!

I made mine way too big. They were great, especially with the blueberry jam I made with the left over blueberries, served with some whipped cream... DELICIOUS...
I also made ones with homemade raspberry jam filling, they were also good.

This is the recipe I found with less ingredients, they turned out good alone with the glaze but I felt like something was missing. They taste good with a good cup of coffee.

so delicious! we decided not to do the glaze to reduce sugar and they were amazing wothout it!

Well...they look delicious! We are waiting to enjoy them with our afternoon tea. The recipe was incredibly easy to make and bake.
I drizzled the glaze while the scones were still warm, they look yummly!

I had no idea how puffed up they were gonna be so I probably should have cut them into multiple little circles instead of giant slices but it came out delicious! The lemon really made all the difference in the world

Turned out great. Had to keep it in the oven 10 minutes longer than the instructions.

turned out great! i omitted the lemon and the glaze because i wanted something simple and they were fantastic

These came out extremely delicious. I used half and half not whole milk since I had that on hand and skipped the glaze because I like my scones without. They were soft on the inside with a bit of crunch on the outside . Would definitely make them again .

Perfect! At the end after they came out of the oven I put a cinnamon lemon glaze on top.

This is a delicious, classic scone recipe that isn’t overly sweet. Thank you for sharing! I substituted orange zest for the lemon zest and they were equally delicious. Next time I make these I plan to incorporate cinnamon too, as my family loves cinnamon everything.

As expected, very easy to make and the way scones are meant to be, not as sweet as store bought, but compliments tea or coffee, without over powering the flavor of the drinks with sugar. Freezes very nicely, without losing texture or flavor.
