This makes a very delicious compote! I sobbed lemon for a lime juice I had on hand and it came out great.

I overcooked the berries before the cornstarch mixture is added, but I thinned out the compote with a splash of water. Tatsed just like blueberry jam

Yummy and perfect recipe. I did however modify...added 2 extra teaspoons of sugar and 1 1/2 Tablespoons of lemon zest. I used black berries, rasberries, and frozen blueberries in mixture. Wonderful. Directions given are to the point.
