  • 2 cups frozen peas (or fresh)
  • 4 cups rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth (no sodium)
  • 1 cup water (or more, depending on your rice cooker instructions)
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 lb. chicken breast (3-4 breasts, the thinner the better)
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika (smoked paprika if you have it)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (to taste.. I didn’t use any and it was still delicious!, optional)
