Directions
- To make the blackberry syrup: In a small pot combine the blackberries, water and sugar. Stir ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool for 4 minutes.
- Place in a blender and blend on high speed for 3 minutes. Strain mixture and then stir in lime juice. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- To assemble the cocktails: In each of two glasses, place two blackberries at the bottom and muddle until smashed and juice is extracted.
- Fill the glasses with ice, and then add the whiskey, blackberry syrup, St. Germain and stir for a few minutes until chilled. Finish each with a splash of ginger beer on top.

go easy on the ginger beer, add a little more black berry syrup and that will make it more palatable.

The syrup makes a boatload so we made ice cubes for later use. The cocktail has complex flavors but is very refreshing! You like bourbon you’ll love this!

Delicious! Tried several different versions with different Bourbons. I found the best bourbon for this drink is angels enV hands-down
