- 3/4 cup buttermilk (+ more for brushing)
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups frozen blackberries (or fresh)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. dried lavender (use 2 teaspoons for a less intense flavor)

I made these scones exactly as directed and they came out even better than I thought they would.
I put the butter in the freezer for about 1/2 an hour before I used the box grater on it.
I also left out the lavender to make it more kid friendly.
The only other thing I did different was I added 1/4 white chocolate (melted in the microwave) to the glaze.
They were a huge hit! Gone the first day! Thanks for the recipe.

DELICIOUS!!! I have lots of blackberries and lavender in my yard, so had to try this recipe. I will make these every summer for the rest of my life. Thanks for the recipe!

Great flavor combo! I lightened these up a bit by replacing most of the butter with Greek yogurt.
