- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 lb. gai lan (Chinese broccoli)

- 1 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 1 piece fresh ginger (peeled and cut into very thin matchsticks)
