Loved this soup! I felt it needed salt so I added one chicken bouillon cube (I used chicken powder for the main broth and it is not very salty). I used red onion and dried black eyed peas and used the quick method to prepare the peas. I followed the recipe exactly as written and simmered the soup for one hour until the peas were just cooked through. Perfect! Will definitely make it again!
