- 7 oz. chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (1 pepper plus 1 1/2 tablespoons adobo sauce; omit the pepper if desired)

- 1 tsp. oregano (each, cumin and paprika)
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
