- 2 cans black beans
- 1 yellow onion (Medium, Diced)
- 1 cup broth
- 2 Tbsp. cumin
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 canela
- 1 cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1 minced garlic
- 1/2 lime
- salt
- Cholula Hot Sauce (Serve with)

Directions
- Use blender to combine black beans, onion, and garlic then transfer to pan. You might need a little water to facilitate blending, but remember to more liquid you add the thinner your soup will be.
- Add spices/stock, heat through and finish with lime juice just before serving.
- After adding soup to bowl make a pool of hot sauce in the center - this lets you get the right amount of hot sauce as you eat.
- Notes - Onion may have been a little too strong, test with 1/2 as much, would also like to test a ground fresh thai pepper.

Very tasty and the spiceness (hot) was good because it needed some bite to it.
Very healthy and for me right now, easy to digest. The hot sauce was not too hot but was careful
with it and did half as much ( chili powder) as it called for. To be safe. Worked for me
