- 300 mL water (boiled)
- 1/2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic (finely copped)
- 200 grams onion (finely chopped)
- 800 grams black beans (in water, 235g in each drained tin)
- 150 grams roasted peppers (whole, from a jar, or fresh peppers if you prefer)
- 1/2 tsp. cumin (groung)
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 juice (a lime)
- 1 pinch salt (and pepper to season)
- 30 grams fresh coriander (to serve)

prepared this as a side to a beef and oven fries and it works great! only used half the beans of the recipe because that's how much I had, but it turned out good, the original recipe might be a bit bean heavy.
