Ingredients

4 SERVINGS
- 2 finely chopped onions (large)
- 2 garlic (finely chopped cloves of)
- 5 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. light brown sugar (soft)
- 12 anchovies (or 2oz can in vinegar)
- 15 grams butter
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 500 grams linguine (bigoli, bucatini, perciatelli or other robust pasta)
- 1 bunch parsley (freshly chopped flatleaf)

Directions
- Heat oil in a heavy pan and cook the finely chopped onion and garlic over low heat until golden.
- Stir in brown sugar en let the onion mixture cook for another minute
- Chop anchovies and add them to the onion mixture, stirring until they begin to "melt."
