- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter (Smart Balance or Brummel and Brown recommended)
- 3/4 cup sweetener (non-sugar, your choice, I used a New Orleans-based product called Swerve. You could also try Truvia, Splenda, etc.)
- 1/2 cup splenda (Brown Sugar, Blend)
- 1/4 cup no sugar added applesauce
- 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
