Possibly could have done it wrong but I had a second pair of eyes and the cookies came out fluffy like marshmallows 😁
I could taste the baking powder, maybe a little less of it. Other wise yummy-easy to shape

Delicious thick and so soft! Held together well, these are great for frosting! They are a little bland if you're not into frosting them, but i like frosting, makes things fun. I'm definitely making these again!

They turned out great. I added the 2nd egg as someone suggested and they were perfect.

It turned out pretty good. Needs to be a little sweeter just add more sugar.

Great sugar cookies to cut out into fun shapes

I just wanted plain sugar cookies so i didn’t put frosting on them, which would probably make them better. But they were pretty bland and seemed like there was too much flour. So if you aren’t going to be icing them I would not recommend these

They seemed to lack flavor, and they flattened out quite easily

made these with my 4 year old. both kids frosted them and put sprinkles on. both were leftovers from her paw patrol birthday theme

Absolutely delicious. Will make this over and over again. We don’t have to wait until next Christmas either. Of course, my husband still insists on sprinkles.

Quick and easy recipe. Turned out great

Made these last year and they turned out great cookies. This year something went wrong, and the dough was hard to work with. The cookies came out hard, like tea biscuits. I then realized that the recipe called for a cup of butter, which is 2 sticks of butter, not one. It would be helpful if it said two sticks of butter, since that is how most people buy and use butter.

awesome cookies. mine took 8-10 to cook, i recommend getting the edges of your cookies golden brown before letting them cool

No matter what I did, these were crumbly. Not rollable. Wet hands kneeding didn't do any good.

    good! excellent recipe!

The previous reviewer that said these collies are hard to work with, is absolutely right, these cookies are not rollable at all. I need to add sugar sprinkles on each of them if not they are not a sugar cookie. These cookies were soft and not crunchy which is nice, they almost tasted undercooked, I put them back in the oven for a few extra minutes because of it. I will keep searching for a good sugar cookie because these are NOT“The Best Sugar Cookies”.....

First time making sugar cookies and this recipe was perfect I wanted to make Christmas cookies with my niece and this recipe was simple not needing to chill the dough was helpful for time I followed the recipe exact except I skipped the almond extract I thought I did something wrong because it didn’t seem think enough but they actually turned out perfect. made one batch and we had more than enough cookies to eat and decorate with!

This really was the easiest cookie to roll out! Tastes great and holds its shape I will definitely be making these again

Look fantastic and taste great! However they break EXTREMELY easily. Difficult to make ahead for decorating another day.
