I buy extra salmon when it is on sale. Salmon steaks one night and then use the leftovers to make these patties, freeze them and pull out for a quick weeknight meal. They are delicious, quick and easy.

I seasoned further with McCormick's Grill Mates roasted garlic and herb, and cut the lemon juice by half. The mix was dry, so i added mayo until it was a good consistency. They held together wonderfully, probably better than any I've made before, and tasted great.
I took a star because even without cutting the lemon juice, these would have been horribly dry without adding the mayo. It took 3 heaping Tablespoons to get where it was needed. Still, I have saved this recipe and intend to reference it for next time.

Hit the spot! Firm, so pan frying was very easy, dredged in corn meal and fried golden brown!

My wife, even though I do almost all the cooking,
has been making these patties for me for over 50 years!
But not often enough Please tell her to make them more often.

Unfortunately, recipe does not state what size can of salmon to use. I have 14.75 oz can, but there are also five and six ounce cans. Can't begin to make without specific can size, cups, or some other appropriate guideline.

This was easy to make and was very tasty but some patties crumbled when I turned them over in the frying pan. Next time I make them I’ll put less breadcrumbs or not drain the salmon so much so they aren’t so dry and maybe will not break apart.

Tried to adjust the recipe for a smaller serving size and it didn't come out very well which was probably my own doing. They were very wet so they wouldn't stay together very well. I ended up with a buttery salmon mix with bread crumbs in it.

Delicious!
I’ve tried lots of recipes for salmon patties and this one is my families favourite. I used a little more butter when frying and a few tablespoons of the salmon juices to keep them nice and moist. I make a dill mayo to dip them in sometimes too. Perfect for a salmon burger😁

Definitely too dry! I will you oats next time like my mom always did. Otherwise, they were fine.

Tasted good but they fell apart. I think I should’ve left some of the juice in with the salmon
