The flavour was good, however the cooking directions are way off. The beans really do need to cook at least on low for several hours, and keeping them on warm will do next to nothing in terms of getting them done. Learned that lesson! Next time I will probably pre-boil the beans a bit, because they were pretty much still raw after the indicated cooking time. I went with the recipe to a T.
