I always keep frozen fruit in freezer, use chillable red, burgundy & voilà easy peasy sangria. Can also add ginger ale, sparkling cider, tonic water, etc. Sangria is so versatile. I never add sugar to anything.

Made this for the 4th of July and everyone loved it. I used 2 tbsp of sugar because I was adding a half a can of ginger ale. Perfect sweetness. I added a cut up apricot, plum, strawberries and frozen green grapes. Very tasty.

I used an old bottle of merlot Followed recipe but added orange pineapple juice and used ginger ale. It was delicious will make again. Also added cut up apple,a few frozen strawberries, plus sliced orange and lemon.

This was so tasty! I used very mediocre wine that had been sitting in the fridge for months and a partial bag of wine left over from a game of slap bag months ago. We had a bag of frozen moonshine soaked fruit from a previous batch of sangria that I threw in there with fresh oranges, a lemon and an apple. I only had spived rum, but that really added some nice soice to the mix. Yum-O!

2017-07-29. Quick and easy. Added 1 carton of oasis tropical passion friut juice, sliced grapes, cherries and sliced lime. Dissolved 2 Tbsp of sugar in equal parts of water and microwaved 35 secs to dissolve the sugar. Added rum+1 oz of brandy. Used 1L of bottled wine. My go to recipe for sangria

Loved it. So refreshing with a nice kick to it. Easy to make and a really nice addition to our usual fare.

We had the Sangria tonight and it was a total success! All my guests wanted the recipe!
I used Merlot, 4 T. Bacardi, 3T. Sugar, ginger ale and the suggested fruit per 3/4 liter of wine and served it in flat champagne bowls. Very tasty, refreshing and good to look at!

I am a diabetic, so the addition of more sugar and rum wouldn't work for me. I used diet ginger ale instead of the club soda. So I made this for a 4th of July party and I used all the fruits listed with the merlot and diet ginger ale; everyone at my party LOVED it! Muddling (mashing) the citrus added such a richer flavor.
