made it in the dutch oven truned out great. made the roux in a separte pot and just added it. i had chicken breasts and boneless chicken thighs which i browned first. turned out really well.

Turned out great definitely more seasoning than on ingredient. I added a small can of tomato paste of flavor and thickness and I think it made a huge difference!!!

My first time making gumbo and it was top notch! Added a bit more on the seasonings but that was the only modification. Thank you for this delicious recipe

This recipe is the bomb! Better than the cajon restaurant we went to last week. i added a bit more cajon seasoning and some fresh ground black pepper. would be really good served with some cajun garlic bread.

This gumbo turned out even better than expected. I love that it was also low in fat. Use the gumbo file!

Great! Made it a few times already.
P.S.
A couple of eggs cracked into it (don't stir) and allowed to cook to make hard-boiled eggs at the end make a great addition! They soak up the gumbo flavor, and it's really great!
