Good balance I halved(ish) the recipe, 1 - 15 oz can of cannellini, pinto, and light red kidney. While I did drain all beans, didn’t rinse them. I also added 1/2 cup of reserved bean liquid due to extra kidney bean proportion. I didn’t have molasses so I substituted light corn syrup I also added a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce good consistency of sauce to beans also liked that the combination of the three beans provided good mixture of texture. We don’t like mushy baked beans and these weren’t

I thought the beans were a bit over cooked, I also got confused as ingredients listed maple surup and molasses with different amounts. I felt it came out to sweet, I would have greatly reduced Brown sugar. I usually don’t read the story prior to getting recipe at bottom, that also might have given me more insight on ingredients

This recipe is now a go-to recipe for large bbqs at home, and it’s also a hit for potlucks. My mother makes this frequently at her retirement home for group potlucks as well. It’s just a hit. It’s easy to make since the beans are canned. Just watch for sales on canned beans and stock up. It’s a winner.

This recipe was a hit with my family. I really like the maple syrup in place of the brown sugar in similar recipes. Delish!
